Daniel Campbell playing for the Coffs Coast Tigers Football Club
My name is Daniel Campbell and I started playing soccer at the age of 5 years old for
Coffs Coast Tigers.
I played with the Tigers throughout my junior years of soccer from the ages of 5-12.
Those years were big years for me and for my soccer journey, I learnt a lot of the basics of soccer and fell in love with the beautiful game.
I really enjoyed my junior years at the Coffs Coast Tigers because it is such a great community within the club and I had the chance to play with my friends growing up.
After playing with a different club team and playing NPL for 2 years, I came back to my boyhood club of Coffs Coast Tigers when I was 17 years old.
My first year back I played under 17s on Friday nights and played men’s divisions on Saturdays.
I was playing reserve grade for the first half of the year and then I broke into the first grade team and played with them for the rest of the year.
I also played for Tigers in my last year of school when I was 18 years old.
I played first and reserve grades for that year and I enjoyed it a lot throughout those 2 years of playing in the men's division.
I learnt a lot during my last 2 years at Coffs Coast Tigers, which helped me when I went and represented Australia for the ParaRoos, which is the Australian Cerebral Palsy and Acquired Brain Injuries Soccer team.
